Ethical Communities The Ethical Communities of an organization are deeply rooted in the organization's values and beliefs. Each of the 4 frames offer a different perspective on the ethical responsibilities of the organization and of the leaders, (Bolman and Deal, 2017. Pg. 397). It's important that every organization identifies their core beliefs and makes them known to the public. Doing so will keep them honest and accountable for their words and actions. It also promotes a sense of community and establishes the brand for the organization. Successful leaders have high Emotional Intelligence and understand the power and importance of a strong moral center.
Reflection The frames offer different perspectives as to where your organization lies in regards to ethical communities. Being able to identify where you are and where you want to be helps you discover what you need in order to progress. For my case analysis, I identified Starbucks as the "Jungle" but wanted to move towards the "Family." Once I identified this, I knew what steps to take to resolve my situation. I think it's extremely important to align with an organization that aligns with your own personal values and beliefs. References Bolman, L. G., & Deal, T. E. (2017).
